Fishermen's Evening Song, one of Xu Daoning's most famous paintings, located in the Nelson-Atkins Museum in Kansas City, Missouri

Xu Daoning, (ca. 970–1051/53; Plantilla:Zh-ts, Hsü Tao-ning) was a Chinese painter of the Song Dynasty (960–1279). He started out painting nature scenes, such as Fishermen's Evening Song. After gaining popularity he began painting murals for Chinese nobles.
